Marieke and Didier, the owners,

owner speaks out

During the Covid period, my husband started working in the family business in West Flanders. In the meantime, we have fully taken over the company together, and it became impossible to combine the responsibility of running the business with living in Antwerp. Because we were not yet ready to part with our beautiful home, we did not sell it immediately but rented it out for a while first. When renovating the property, we deliberately preserved the charm of the original house. The commercial space is a major asset for anyone wishing to combine living and working, without compromising their privacy. Having a garage in the heart of the city is also a huge advantage. After a long working day, not having to look for parking and simply driving straight into your garage is a real luxury. The spaciousness of the house is another great feature, with plenty of storage space and high ceilings. From morning until midday, we enjoy the sun on the rear terrace, which is spacious, pleasant and surprisingly quiet for such a central location. In summer, we also enjoy the view of the green treetops on the square. Finally, there is the fantastic location: between the MAS museum and the historic city centre. Here, everything is within easy reach on foot or by bike. Cafés, restaurants, shops... everything is nearby.
