Description

Weekend in this delightful house: Get pistolets on foot at La Difference bakery and have breakfast in the garden. Then jogging for an hour in Te Boelaer Park or swimming in Piscine Groenenhoek. Meet up with friends for a petanque at Bar Brul. In the evening, dinner at the end of the street at Jardin Public. Does it get any better?

The location of this property is sublime. Lots of activities in the neighbourhood, residential living and yet 10 minutes into the city, close to the main roads, tram stops and train station, as well as every possible type of retail outlet around the corner.

The house was renovated in 2008. New roof, new windows, new electricity, new plumbing. The full monty.

The ground floor enjoys an enormous amount of light. Through the purple upper windows at the front, a warm glow radiates inside. The authentic molures, terrazzo tile in the kitchen, original tile in the hallway, wooden floors, art-deco fireplace with gas cassette, large black steel doors with glazing, add character and style to the house. This is a home with history complemented by contemporary taste.

In addition to the charming south-west facing garden, upstairs you will find an extra garden room or office space with an adjacent terrace with sun until late in the morning. Direct sunshine trumps both the house and the garden.

The floors include three spacious bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower and bath, and a studio across the width of the house with kitchenette and separate shower.

Call now or cry later.

The ambience of the house is in line with the ambience of the neighbourhood. Cosiness prevails.
Ingeborg and Miek, the owners,

owner speaks out

We regularly rent out the two bedrooms at the top through Airbnb. We actually only need one bedroom and bathroom ourselves, so we're swimming in space. We do like the international aspect and you always meet new personalities. That makes it fascinating.

The studio is used by Miek's parents. They live in Mol, but are from this neighbourhood. Thanks to the studio, they can easily stay with us and spend time here in peace and privacy.

The atmosphere of the house is in line with the ambiance of the neighbourhood. Cosiness prevails. The garden is delightful and the living space is always bathed in light. The separation between office and living space is also very cool. While one works and the other cooks, for example, you are still together in a way. Very nice.
