Description

You don't have to look long for reasons why Antwerp's southern edge is so attractive. This quiet, child-friendly area has everything close by: bakeries, butchers and shops, as well as nice neighbours, schools, parks and forts... To Antwerp, Lier, Mechelen or BXL? You can get there in no time either by tram, bus, bike or car.

The fresh façade with double bay window forms a beautiful, authentic appearance in the street. That line continues inside, including the entrance hall with beautiful original floors, high ceilings, moulures and sandblasted staircase to the living area upstairs.

At the front, the atmospheric dining room and living room flow organically into each other. The bay window provides plenty of light. Also thanks to the giga dome in the catchy kitchen, you have light à volonté. Custom-made kitchen with extra-deep cabinets in bold but very successful sea blue. To say you have plenty of storage space here is an understatement. Fine cooking island and hidden coffee corner - everything has been thought of. Adjacent is the sunny terrace, blissful for a summer lunch or good book with a view of greenery.

2nd floor: bright master bedroom with lovely bay window, 2nd large bedroom and fully renovated bathroom with large rain shower, spacious bath and double washbasin. Grohe taps in steel look with Ecojoy, so carefree bathing with low water consumption. This is where you enjoy golden hour in the evening in peace.

The house was thoroughly renovated in 2018-2019, both technically and aesthetically: roof insulation, new aluminium windows, water and heating pipes, electricity...

Our favourite spot for a morning coffee? The bay window, which lets in incredible light.
The owners,

owner speaks out

It's blissful living here. The aesthetics are right and the light is wonderful. The house has a lot of charm and authenticity, at the same time it is also very practical and you have storage space in abundance, for example. A perfect combo!

The restored interior doors literally cost us blood, sweat and tears, but they are totally worth it. Our favourite spot for a morning coffee? The bay window, which lets in incredible light. The spacious terrace with wide, green views is also fantastic for barbecues with fresh herbs from the planter, wine, setting sun.... Enjoy! Yet another favourite feature is the luxurious zen bathroom. We renovated it with attention to detail, quality finishes and low-maintenance materials (matt white solid surface and steel-look taps with low water consumption). At night, you are regularly treated to an insane, colour spectacle during sunset, just, from your bath. Awesome
