This is our paradise in the city. Here you have that great combination of the bustling metropolis, the cosiness of a village and the tranquillity of the great parks nearby, such as Rivierenhof and Krugerpleintje. Borgerhout really is a village in the city - and that's not an empty phrase. Neighbours address you by name, we help each other out with a bottle of milk or a packet of sugar and every month we go for a drink together in one of the many surrounding pubs.
We sometimes affectionately call our house 'the staircase house'. It is incredibly open, with lots of cool mezzanines and surprising levels. Friends visiting for the first time are always pleasantly surprised once up on the roof terrace.
