Moreover, between two nature reserves De Oude Landen and Bospolder. The Oude Landen known for its great floral beauty, but also for the reed birds, the nightingales, the many butterflies and the Scottish galloway cattle. The Bospolder offers hiking trails through grasslands, marshes, woods and marsh, interspersed with shallow pools.

The authentic atmosphere of the farmhouse can be found in the handsome waxed tile floor, brick facades, black shutters, wood ceilings and fireplace. Modern elements such as high windows in the front, velux windows in the roof, gas central heating were added. The horse stables were transformed into indoor garage, painting studio and sitting room.

The kkn and bdk function perfectly, but could use an update. Three velux windows are in need of replacement. The natural gas boiler is new from 2016. The roof was fully insulated. This results in a good EPC score of 235.

A topper for the fast birds!

owner speaks out

We have super loved living here for almost 40 years. The kids went by bike to St. Michael's College in Brasschaat. We were close to the city and yet had nature in the immediate vicinity.

The house is ideal to live together and still cherish a place of your own.

The spacious living area lends itself perfectly to eating together, discussing at the fireplace, playing games or watching TV. The kids used the extra sitting room to invite their friends over, play games or chill. We have now moved into this room for storage.

As an artist, my husband needs light and space. The painting studio is his absolute Valhalla. Here he can work on his canvases in peace and privacy. And I have my sewing room downstairs. Well arranged.

The perfect "living apart together."
